"Impeach Obama" (Pure Genius Civil Disobedience!!!)

Signs that usually tell you that a road is closed or that there is.construction work had more of a political message.

These type of signs in Alaska were "hacked" by civil disobedience tax payers. These signs have boxes that are usually left unlocked and in these boxes is where the message board is.

While hacking may be a too harsh of a word to use the Department of Transportation is still using it, even though hacking is usually digital not physical.

So while the Department of Transportation calls the civil disobedience tax payers, hackers; it seems to be too misleading.

Legally "hacking" these signs are frowned upon, but I am sure if our government compares this to what our founding fathers did then they will soon dismiss this activism.

Activism in the 1700's to today's have totally became less affective. In the 1700's we would have dump the signs (anything the government owns) off a cliff. (Parody to the Boston Tea Party.)

This is great activism in a general sense though. This civil disobedience seems to been very effective, and probably brought alot of attention to Republican Representative Walter B. Jones Jr.'s resolution that would start an impeachment process if Obama starts an unconstitutional war. (Walter B. Jones Jr.'s resolution is H.C. Res. 107.)

The regional construction engineer for the Department of Transportation said this when confronted on the issue of the signs reading "Impeach Obama"; “I'm sure somebody thought it was a pretty funny joke but we try to convey a lot of important information with these signs,”

So there you have it, you cannot use your own tax payer funded signs. The force of government puts a gun to your head to buy these signs and you can't even use them for political civil disobedience.

While civil disobedience is always breaking a law in the hopes for a better future, it always has a danger. The person responsible could face charges of criminal mischief (it is unclear what these charges actually do to somebody).

So don't be a mischievous patriot, no. Don't you even dare even think of our founding fathers and the radical 1700's and go even more mischievous and push the signs off a cliff either.

No listen to your President and never question him.

Many may think doing this type of civil disobedience is dangerous, but having a tyrannical government is even more dangerous. Remember a patriot is somebody who fights for his country, not a tyrant and a tyrant's orders.
